As part of your GHAAS membership, you gain access to our exclusive Dark Sky Observing Site located near Eckley Miners Village. This site offers exceptional stargazing conditions with a Bortle rating of 4.5 and sky brightness readings between 21.25 and 20.91 — ideal for deep-sky observation and astrophotography.

Monthly Stargazing Events & Community
We host monthly meetings at the Hazleton Township Meeting Hall (Route 309) on the second Saturday of each month (excluding July, August, and December).
- Doors open: 7:00 PM
- Meeting begins: 7:30 PM
- Open to the public — all experience levels welcome
These gatherings include speaker presentations, observation tips, news from the sky, and updates on local stargazing events.
